Scott Sauber

Scott appears in the Renaissance after winning the Miss Glamouresse Pageant across the courtyard in in the Lagniappe Theatre last fall THREE TIMES as the tapping and roping Miss Texas.  He galivanted in Bikini Bottom as Perch Perkins and an Electric Skate in the  Spongebob Squarepants Musical after spending a summer on the rooftops as Bert in Mary Poppins. His favorite Rivertown roles include the Audrey II Puppeteer in Little Shop of Horrors and Huckleberry Finn in Big River way back in 2005.  He spent three summers climbing in and out of the box as a Patchwork Player and his lighting work on Into The Woods was nominated for a Big Easy Award.  Scott debuted at Summer Lyric in 2024 as the Purser in Anything Goes, returned to Le Petite in 2025 as Bob Crewe in Jersey Boys, and spent Christmas conducting the Polar Express Train Ride.  He teaches, designs and directs for the Talented Arts Program in Slidell as well as 8 school programs in New Orleans.  He was recognized as the Outstanding Theatre Educator for Louisiana for 2024/2025 by the Educational Theatre Association.  Mr. Sauber is looking forward to the role of Peter in Summer Lyric's Company and making his mainstage directorial debut with JPAS in 2026 with FROZEN. He is grateful to the entire team it takes to build and make this show happen and is thankful for the chance to play in the Renaissance.
