Savannah Chiasson

Savannah is ready to put on her blue suede shoes! She is best known at Rivertown for her performances as Sister Mary Downey in Disaster! the Musical and as SpongeBob in SpongeBob the Musical. You may also recognize her from Xanadu (Calliope), Sister Act (Mary Theresa… the old nun), The Play That Goes Wrong (Annie), The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (Aggie, Ensemble), Matilda (Michael Wormwood) and Elf the Musical (Deb). Other credits include Shrek (Pinocchio), Rocky Horror (Janet Weiss), The Addams Family (Wednesday Addams), Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party (Madeleine True), Fun Home (Medium Alison). If you’ve enjoyed her performances and want to continue to support, she’ll be performing at JPA Westwego for the foreseeable future. She would love to see familiar faces there! When she is not at the theater, she is teaching math to 8th-12th grade special education students. She would like to thank her family, girlfriend, and friends for all of their constant love and support. Lastly, Savannah would like dedicate her performance to her dog, Deuce, after 16 years of being by her side rooting for her at home, he is now sitting front row with the man upstairs and watching her perform.
