Renee Gaubert

As a teacher graduate of "...A Time to Dance" studio in Algiers and an alumna of both Loyola and Tulane Universities, Renée has studied jazz, tap, ballet, modern dance, and musical theater since age 6. Since 2012, Renée has choreographed and performed works for D'Project, Inc., a New Orleans based modern dance company, as well as her own Broken Mirror Productions. Renée has also danced with Ballet Hysell in New Orleans and American Liberty Ballet Company in New York, and currently teaches at New Orleans Dance Academy and in her home studio. Renée has appeared in the ensemble of several productions at Rivertown Theater, most recently as Durla in Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. She is thrilled to share the stage again with such talented artists and bring Singin' in the Rain, one of her favorite movie musicals, to a new audience.
