María Hefte

Marianne Wilson

María Hefte is honored to return to the Rivertown stage. Former Rivertown Theater roles include: Lady Larkin (Once Upon A Mattress); Snow White (Disenchanted); Winnifred Banks (Mary Poppins); The Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods). Other roles for which she may be recognized include performances with Jefferson Performing Arts: Marie/Fairy Godmother (R&H’s Cinderella); Nurse Ratched (One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest); Molly Ralston (The Mousetrap); Grace Farrel (Annie); Martha Watson (White Christmas). With over twenty years of classical training, Hefte has sung German, Italian, French, and Russian repertoire performing with Robert Wagner’s pandemic-era ensemble group Opera Festa Singers, of which Hefte was a founding member. Hefte has workshopped new musicals like How To Kill A Diva (JPA, 2019), Perfectly Imperfect (Marigny Opera House, 2020), participated in the 30th Anniversary performance of the Treehouse Players’ Rapunzel: A Family Musical (NOLA Theatre), and looks forward to future projects in stage, film, and television.
