Jordan Lawrence

Princess Winnifred the Woebegone

After many years of being told she has the voice of a Disney princess in grocery stores, streetcar rides and beyond, it’s finally time Jordan takes on the role of a princess on stage! Jordan graduated from Tulane University in 2019 with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. You’ve seen her on the Rivertown stage before as Sister Mary Patrick in “Sister Act,” Karen the Computer in “SpongeBob SquarePants,” Sister Amnesia in Nunsense 1 & 2 and Charlotte/Ensemble in “Oliver!” Some of her favorite roles have been: Little Sally in “Urinetown” and Schwartzy “Spelling Bee.” She was the dance specialist and Assistant Director of Performing Arts at a sleepaway camp in New York for several summers and has served as the music specialist at day camps in the New Orleans area. She currently serves as the Cantorial Soloist/Music Director at Congregation Gates of Prayer. Lots of gratitude to her congregation for their ongoing support for this passion! A big thank you to Gary, Michael and Belle for their unmatched direction and dedication to making this show the best it can be; Kayln and the crew for their hard work in making all the magic happen behind the scenes and of course, the amazingly talented cast for bringing their all and for being genuinely and certifiably kind, encouraging, and determined to make this show a success!
