Joel Rainey

Joel is excited to be back at Rivertown after playing Horace Vandergelder in Hello Dolly this past fall. His favorite roles include Scrooge, Huey Long, Daddy Warbucks, Billy Bigelow, Richard Henry Lee, Bill Sikes, Tony in West Side Story and opposite his wife, Paige, in Love Letters. Favorite directing credits include Beauty and the Beast, One flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest, 13, Peter and the Starcatcher, Titus Andronicus, The King and I, Bent, Of Mice and Men and Christmas Carol. Joel is a Talented Theatre specialist in the East Baton Rouge school system and thanks his wife, Paige, and children, Lauren and Christian, for all their patience and encouragement. #landrystrong
