Jayla Rose Jackson

Jayla is thrilled to be back on Rivertown Theatres’ stage this summer for her second time with such a talented and outgoing cast in Mean Girls! She was previously seen in A Christmas Story last holiday season. Jayla is a rising senior at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) studying Musical Theatre. Previous credits include Little Shop of Horrors (Ronnette), Chicago (Ensemble, Morton U/S) at NOCCA, and regionally, Oliver! (Ensemble) at Tulane’s Summer Lyric Theatre. Jayla wants to give a special thank you to Mrs. Kelly Fouchi for giving her the opportunity to be in such a thrilling show! Jayla also sends lots of love to the Rivertown cast, crew, and her family for their support in all of her theater opportunities.
