Jauné Buisson

Jaune is thrilled to return to the Gypsy stage, this time as Tessie Tura, after previously performing in the show—and even more delighted to share the experience with her niece, who makes her stage debut as Baby June. A veteran of the New Orleans theatre and dance community, Jaune has directed and choreographed A Chorus Line at Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre, as well as Jersey Boys and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at Le Petit Théâtre du Vieux Carré. She is the Artistic Director of Metropolitan Dance Theatre of New Orleans, where she has spent over two decades shaping generations of dancers and performers. Jaune is honored to join this incredible cast and creative team for a production that’s truly a family affair.
