Elise Spurlock

Elise is elated to be returning to the stage after music-directing several recent Rivertown shows including Dear Evan Hansen, Something Rotten and Hairspray. She has performed onstage with Rivertown Theaters, Summer Lyric at Tulane, and Jefferson Performing Arts Society, as well as regional companies in the San Diego area. Her favorite roles include Maleficent in Disney's The Descendants, Rona in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Inga in Young Frankenstein. Her most exciting experience was taking on the role of DeeDee in The Prom (Rivertown) when she was called to learn it 36 hours before opening! Outside of performing and teaching music, Elise is a full-time early childhood educator and a mom to two young and adventurous little girls! None of it would be possible without the amazing support of her husband and family who never cease to cheer her on. This is for you!
