Brittney J Crayton

Brittney is thrilled to be back on the River town stage. Brittney is affectionately known as New Orleans Theatre teacher and she takes pride in nurturing a love of theatre in students of all ages.  When not performing, brittney is a theatre teacher at Warren Easton Charter high school. She is married to the love of her life her king Steven Crayton Jr. and together they are the parents of three dogs Nyelli, Nova , and Norris. Brittney’s notable performances include motormouth May belle in hairspray, Effie in dreamgirls and Celie in the color purple just to name a few. Brittney dedicates all of these performances to her granny Beverly and all of her theatre babies across Louisiana! Remember to shine bright shine far and remember you’re a star
