Barry James Acosta

Barry is thrilled to be back again at Rivertown sharing the stage with another fabulous cast. A New Orleans Native, Barry received his BA in Theatre from Centenary College of Louisiana, Class of 2013. Favorite credits: Larry (The Boys in the Band), Trevor (The Play that Goes Wrong), Appointment with Death (Jefferson Cope), The Tempest (Stephano), Spring Awakening (Hanschen), Big Love (Giuliano), and Pangaea (Georgie Cromwell). When not at Rivertown, Barry enjoys watching reality TV shows like Survivor and RuPaul’s Drag Race, writing movies, and eating tacos and drinking margaritas.
