Ashley Lemmler

Velma Von Tussle

Ashley Smetherman Lemmler is an educator and professional vocalist who performs a variety of genres. She holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Music/Vocal Performance.  Ashley has taught Choir and Piano at Fontainebleau High School in Mandeville for the past 17 years and her choirs have consistently earned Superior ratings at District and State Assessments. In addition to performing frequently as a solo jazz vocalist in various venues around town, Ashley is also a featured with several local bands including Jubilation, NOLA Jazz Revival, the Boogie Men, and Swing Set. Ashley is well known to local theater audiences; favorite past roles include My Fair Lady (Eliza Dolittle), Mamma Mia (Donna Sheridan), A Little Night Music (Charlotte), The Mikado (Yum Yum), White Christmas (Betty Haynes), Hello Dolly (Dolly Levi), and most recently at Rivertown Theatre in Broadway New Orleans Style. She is also the worship leader for the contemporary service at First United Methodist Church in Hammond and a member of the Sacred Nine Project Vocal Ensemble.
