Andrew Eastland

Andrew is excited to be back on the Rivertown stage! He is a sophomore at Eastland Academy. He was recently seen as Scut Farkus in A Christmas Story and Jack Kelly in Newsies, Jr. and in the mainstage Newsies Ensemble here at Rivertown, and in River Region Drama Guild’s Haunted Broadway, singing “The Dentist” and Godspell, singing “We Beseech Thee.” He was also in Matilda, Jr. (Mr. Wormwood) and Mary Poppins, Jr. (George Banks) at Rivertown Theaters, and he danced the role of Russian in River Region Ballet Guild’s The Nutcracker. Other credits include Descendants, Jr., Grease, Jr., Disney on Broadway, Oliver!, Junie B.’s Essential Survival Guide to School, Seussical, Jr., Music Man, Jr., and Addams Family. He assistant teaches tumbling classes at Encore Studios, where he also studies tap, hip-hop, and jazz. He also assistant teaches tumbling classes at Broadway Open Stage Studio, where he perfected his back handspring, back tuck, and aerial! He can next be seen as Maui in Rivertown’s Moana in April and Malcolm in 13 the Musical at River Region Drama Guild in June.
